Message From Board Of Directors

As a non-profit organization, Cheetahs Soccer Club facilitates programs to accommodate both the individual needs of the players as well as recreational and competitive sport. In this organization, the members consider themselves as "One FamilyWorking towards One Goal – Making ordinary players into astonishing players who are mindful and focused towards Soccer".

Markham Married Soccer Club (MMSC) which evolves around men's team has been playing for last ten years in the Toronto/Markham Districts. When these men became fathers, rebirth of an idea came into place. They decided to start a soccer club for their kids and instill their skills and believes in them. This idea has become the cornerstone for the establishment of this team which is now known as "Cheetahs Soccer Club". The members have made their mission to encourage the development of each player's individual abilities, not only to improve their playing skills, but also to promote soccer participation in their community.

The Cheetahs Soccer Club has created ordinary children into extraordinary soccer players by uniting team with team chemistry and team spirit. Our commitment to soccer began when parents realized the sportive potential in the kids and wanted to enrich their talents. Our club consists of more than hundred players, even if they differ in age they are certainly together in team spirit.

In the summer of 2009, these amazing kids spent their entire summer in the soccer field enriching their skills and taking part in every tournament held in Toronto. Most importantly, U8 achievements include two time championships and two time runner-ups in major league tournaments. Their team spirit was even appreciated by their opponents after every match. The Cheetahs Soccer Club players have demonstrated over and over that nothing and nobody can take the focus out regardless of neither the climatic conditions nor the circumstances.

U9 had a very successful season playing in their rep-teams and captured a significant standing at the Scardesco. Parents and children exhibit characteristics such as, sportsmanship, integrity, dedication and passion for the sport. It is without a doubt that, Parents, Children and the respectful Coaches give their best to promote the sport they love – Soccer.

To conclude we the Board of Directors would like to convey our good fortune to all the players for the upcoming season. We also like to acknowledge our gratitude to all our sponsors, parents, and volunteers.
